New Red Band Trailer for Michael Bay’s Benghazi Film ’13 Hours’

Paramount Pictures has released the red-band trailer for Michael Bay’s upcoming action thriller, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi.

Based on a true story, and in turn on the 2013 book 13 Hours by Mitchell Zuckoff, with screenplay by Chuck Hogan, the film tells the story of the six members of the security team that fought to defend the Americans stationed at the embassy in Benghazi when it came under attack.

Chris Pine Closes Deal to Star in ‘Wonder Woman’

Chris Pine has closed a deal to join the DC Movie Universe as Steve Trevor in Patty Jenkins’ anticipated Wonder Woman movie, reports have confirmed this week.

Set to star opposite Gal Gadot, who will be playing the lead of Wonder Woman, these are the only two casting confirmations as of yet, and the deal also includes sequel options.

DVD Review: Wild Card

Based on the critically acclaimed 1985 novel, Heat, written by two-time Academy Award-winning writer William Goldman, who also wrote the screenplay for the film, Wild Card is a remake of the 1986 adaptation that starred Burt Reynolds.

Directed by Simon West (The Expendables 2), the film follows Nick Wild (Jason Statham), a bodyguard with lethal skills and a gambling problem, who gets in trouble with the mob whilst on a job in Las Vegas.

DVD Review: The Voices

Ryan Reynolds is an actor known for his versatility… and by that, I mean that he’s had a handful of decent roles, one iconic role in a great high school comedy, a known passion for his role as Deadpool, and then some very poor role choices in between.

His role in the horror-comedy The Voices, however, is one of the best performances that you will see from him. Starring as a troubled, med-addicted (although seemingly normal looking from the outside) factory worker, The Voices sees Reynolds play the role of Jerry, a young bachelor who is dedicated to living a normal life and succeeding in his new job at the Milton Bathtub factory.

True Detective: Season 2 Episode 4 – TV Review

This week’s explosive episode, ‘Down Will Come‘, gets the pace of second series of True Detective back up to speed, as we’re left with a heap of dead bodies and only three detectives left standing. Nothing is going to be the same after this, that’s for sure, as the three leads in the series find themselves in a situation that isn’t going to be easy to get out of.
