With Valentine’s Day coming up, this week I have three infographics to share. This final post comes from The Unplag plagiarism checker team, who have analysed 2,365,012 words from romantic novels to find out what story has the highest percentage of ‘love words’.

The team analysed 2,365,012 words from 10 of the most popular romantic stories, including Romeo and Juliet, The Notebook, 50 Shades of Grey, Anna Karenina, Madame Bovary, Gone with the Wind, Jane Eyre, The Great Gatsby, Wuthering Heights, Pride and Prejudice, and Twilight.

They then counted the following words: love, lover, loving, hate, death, heart, relationship, affection, passion, and wedding.

The results are quite surprising, with Twilight having the lowest percentage and Shakespeare being the most romantic.
