(Written for Filmoria)
20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for the young adult romance, Paper Towns, and it looks like this one’s going to be another big hit this summer.
Adapted from the novel of the same name, written by the author of last year’s box office smash The Fault In Our Stars, John Green, the film has already had a lot of attention because of the author but also because of the leading cast.
From director Jake Schreier (Robot & Frank), with the screenplay scribed by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, the film stars Nat Wolff as a young man who wakes up one night to find his neighbor Margo, played by Cara Delevingne, dressed as a ninja, asking him to help her get revenge on the people who have hurt her. She disappears the next day, but the boy subsequently begins to receive clues from her that he must follow.
Delivinge and Schreier are undoubtedly going to be massive stars after the release of this film, with the trailer showing some real talent and a lot of chemistry.
From the director of Robot & Frank, as well, Paper Towns is going to be a film full of real heart and emotion, as it explores the coming-of-age story of friendship and love.
The tagline for the film is “She loved mysteries so much she became one…”
And here’s the official synopsis:
