We got a pretty good lie in this morning for our 3pm flight from Helsinki to Stockholm. It was certainly well needed, and we felt so good after our sauna afternoon yesterday.
So bags packed and on the transfer bus we got. The flight only took 40 minutes, and since the time went back an hour, we arrived in Stockholm before we left Helsinki. Magic!
When we arrived at the airport, in a town called Arlanda, we had to take an underground express train. The price of this was included in our Interrail pass (thank God!) as it was quite pricey: adult returns were around 500 sek (about £50) but you also have to remember that if you are under 26 you are still classed as a youth in many of these Scandinavian countries.
After getting a little lost – Stockholm has many levels of roads and bridges, making it a lot more complex than Helsinki – we found our hostel and had a little walk around, finding some food for tea and breakfast in the morning.
