Meet Renesmee Cullen: New Breaking Dawn Images

(Written for Lost In The Multiplex)

We have the first set of images for the latest Twilight film this week, introducing us to some of the new characters who will be joining the cast as well as Bella and Edward’s new born vampire child.

Directed by Bill Condon, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is the final instalment in a series of adaptations based on Stephenie Meyer’s highly acclaimed supernatural romance novels.

The first promotional image was released by Summit Entertainment last week, giving a first look at Mackenzie Foy as Renesmee – or at least part of her – in a family portrait of newly turned vampire Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), her now vampire husband Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and their newly born vampire child.

For those who haven’t read it may be a little confusing as to why Renesmee looks so old but you will have to wait for the film to find out why.

The further eight stills were then posted by Entertainment Weekly a few days later giving us a much better look at some of the new characters, which includes Tracey Heggins and Judith Shekoni as Zafrina and Senna from the Amazon coven, as well as some already established characters such as Taylor Lautner as werewolf Jacob Black, Dakota Fanning as a member of the vampire coven The Volturi, and a couple of other new faces too.

Also starring Peter Facinelli, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Jackson Rathbone, Elizabeth Reaser, Nikki Reed, Billy Burke, Rami Malek, and Maggie Grace, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is set to be released on 16th November.
