My Letterboxd account documents what films I am watching, usually films for the first time but occasionally a film I haven’t logged before.
Here’s a summary of the films I have watched this month, including a rating and short review for each.
The latest Nicholas Sparks‘ adaptation, based on his novel of the same name, and directed by Lasse Hallström, Safe Haven follows a young woman (Julianne Hough) with a mysterious past, who runs away to Southport, North Carolina where her bond with a widower (Josh Duhamel) and friendship with her neighbour (Cobie Smulders) forces her to move on and look forward to the future, but to do that she must first confront the dark secret that haunts her.
We’re going to start making this feature a little shorter from now on, so here’s some of the biggest and newest trailers from the past few weeks, with the brilliant first trailer for Marvel’s upcoming Iron Man sequel, to the first teaser for the remake of Carrie.

This week’s casting news begins with a bit of a Harry Potter special. Whilst we’ve seen much from Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson since the end of filming for the Harry Potter franchise, it’s now time for Tom Felton and Rupert Grint to return to the big screen. Other news includes that of Keira Knightley, Colin Farrell, Clive Owen, Louise Lombard, Simon Merrells and Naomie Harris, so keep reading to see who will be Winnie Mandela to Idris Elba‘s Nelson, Marcus Crassus in Starz Original’s Spartacus series, and one of the lead roles in Warner Bros. Arthur and Lancelot.
