Watch The New Video for Duran Duran’s ‘Girl Panic’

British 80s New Wave band, Duran Duran, have released a new video for their latest song ‘Girl Panic’ this week.

The nine and a half-minute long video is directed by Swedish filmmaker Jonas Åkerlund, who directed Madonna’s award-winning ‘Ray of Light’ music video, Lady Gaga’s ‘Paparazzi’ and The Rolling Stones’ ‘Rain Fall Down.’ It features a number of supermodels in a return of the ‘Supers’ who have all been in their videos before, including Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Eva Herzigova and Helena Christensen who play the band members themselves.

And The Giraffe – Something for Someone – EP Review

Nick Roberts and Josh Morris met during freshman year in Gainesville, FL and have since formed the incredible And The Giraffe. Their first EP, Something for Someone, was released on 21st August 2011 and was recorded over the course of the summer in Nick’s cramped apartment bedroom along with the help of a few friends.

My Name Is Ian – The Josh Baskins EP – Review

The Josh Baskins EP is written and performed by 23-year-old Ian Williams who is previously from Yeovil, Somerset. Now living in Cardiff, Ian works with the label, Art Is Hard. His second EP was released on 18th July 2011 and is based on the 1988 film Big which starred Tom Hanks.

Opening with ‘Man Enough‘ and following with ‘I’m Breaking Down‘, the EP has a very grungey feel to it with distorted vocals and a fast paced guitar rhythm. The songs are very catchy and work really well together.
