Indie familiars Jesse Eisenberg and Dakota Fanning are in talks to join Kelly Reichardt’s indie thriller Night Moves, it has been announced this week.
From the director of Meek’s Cutoff, the film will follow three eco-terrorists – with the mastermind behind the plot already confirmed to be played by Peter Sarsgard – who plot to blow up a dam.
Eisenberg has now been confirmed to play the ringleader, for the role which Paul Dano was previously attached to, and Fanning a wealthy young girl who provides the financial backing for the plan, for which Eisenberg’s The Social Network co-star Rooney Mara was also approached for.
Now with confirmations for all three leads, we’ll start hearing more about this film soon.
For now, Eisenberg will be seen in Woody Allen’s latest film To Rome With Love, which will arrive in UK cinemas on 14th September 14, and Fanning will be seen opposite Jeremy Irvine in the romance Now Is Good, which will be released in the UK on 21st September.
